Ginseng scientific genus name (“Panax”) shares the same semantic root of ancient Greek word “Panakeia”, which is the universal remedy Godness name. Ginseng pivotal role in traditional Chinese medicine was, in fact, well-known by Linneus when he named this exceptional Araliaceae family plant member.
